Yesterday was a very busy day. Brett's dad and brother came over to help with some jobs around the house. I took Zoe to the vet for her first trip. She did really good. Even to the fact when he gave me a small bag of puppy food to try she picked it up in her teeth and proceeded to take it with her.....don't know where she thought she was going because she was still on the exam table. We got back home and I began to cook lunch for all the guys.
By 4:00 we had a new shower head installed, a new back screen door, new door knob and locks, and a new fan in the kitchen. LOVING the fan!! It makes a world of difference since the sun seems to beam in through the two windows.
Zoe and I stayed outside for a while. She played while I watered the flowers. She found much enjoyment from a bow from a gift bag that I found in the trunk of my car. She drug it all around the yard until it came untied.

She has also discovered the sheep. She sat for a while contemplating what they were and if she should venture out into the field. She's a brave little dog - no cares. Very unlike Darcy. Before I knew it she was running down the fence line after the sheep. I called her back and she dashed under the electric fence again. No jolts though - it didn't even faze her when it touched her back and tail.

She is so funny. So much like a person. She has the funniest expressions and is always noisy. She loved the ribbon today and playing outside. Simple things to find enjoyment.
Sorry for your gift exchange troubles. That sure can put a bad taste in your mouth with a store, for sure. Zoe is precious! Don't you wish we could live our lives with such abandon?
