After Brett got home from golf on Sunday I informed him we were having dinner at the mexican restuarant and then going to stay at mama and daddy's. It was just too hot to cook in the house. We had dinner with them in town and then headed home for a cool shower and then packed our little bags along with Zoe's to go stay once again at Wayne and Faye's. I was hoping this would be the last night and we could sleep in our own beds but I got the phone call this morning from Terrell's and the new unit is coming from Macon. So it will not be delivered until Tuesday and installed on Wednesday!
So much for hoping. Anyway, we will be staying at my parent's until the house is cool once again. Sad to say but I am glad that I have to work today and Tuesday so I am not cooped up in a hot house. Zoe seems to love Maggie (mama and daddy's bulldog) but going outside for bathroom breaks takes too long. She has to check everything out first because it's a new place.
Oh well.....back to work and maybe it will stay cool for a couple of days.
I hope for you all that there will not be any "glitches"...it is getting HOTTER AND HOTTER - I don't know how you stand to be in there for more than a few minutes!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am not. Only to repack another bag and quickly leave again to go to my parents. We should have cool air by Thursday morning.....so they say! 8) lol
