Friday Fun Day

Today I was supposed to get a lot accomplished. Get up, go get the oil changed in Brett's car, go to the bank to open up our new checking account, and then to Statesboro to update my driver's license, social security, and run a few shopping errands at Belk, Petco, & TJ Maxx.
Well.......the bank computers were down and they could not pull up the forms, the social security office said they required the official marriage license (which we have not received yet) and for my name change on the driver's license I need my new social security card (which I could not get).
SO, I ended up staying home and writing about 65 thank you notes. I took Zoe out several times and let her play in the yard. Brett went by the court house and picked up our marriage license. Why they didn't mail it and it had been sitting on their desk was beyond me because they had a self addressed stamped envelope!!!
Brett and I are enjoying a quiet evening at home. Picked up a pizza for dinner and we are watching a movie.
