Brett and I called Terrell's and they came within an hour. To my guess, which was right, we need an entire new unit. This cannot be delivered until possibly Monday. We opened the windows and let the house begin to cool before we started grilling. During dinner I thought I was going to melt. We decided that staying at Wayne and Faye's would be much better that melting in our sleep.
Today we got up and came home to get ready for church. After church we had dinner at Brian's. His new girlfriend cooked lunch for us. It was delicious and so nice for a change.
Now Zoe and I are sitting under the fan with all the windows open. I decided to watch the end of Gran Tarino again since I fell asleep last night and missed the last hour.
I would be LIVING with Wayne and Faye until Monday! Much to hot for a la natural living. I am NOT a happy hot person.

We were outside most of today at a family reunion and I am not used to that EXCESSIVE heat!!! I definitely could not sleep in the heat...that is one time it MUST be cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI think that I am in agreement with Tammy - LIVING with Ma and Pa is MUCH better than this heat and humidity...hope the unit comes soon!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sign! *LOL* When Wayne & I got home from our honeymoon (some 21 years ago now) lightning had stuck our air conditioner & we had to stay w/the in-laws a night or so until it could get going again. Sincerely, hoping you and Brett see as many wonderful years as us, and Wayne & Faye! Look at them go, huh?
