When we got to Tybee you would have thought a hurricane was setting in the wind was blowing so hard! It was all we could do to get our bags to the upper deck to go in the back door. Friday night was dinner of pizza at Huc-a-poo's on Tybee. We had a great time beside from the cold.
Saturday the girls shopped and had lunch at Spanky's. While the guys ended up going to the other mall to Bass Pro. Our whole weekend was basically planned for the engagement party we were all going to Saturday night at the Westin. We were all dressed in cute cocktail dresses and suits only to find out that the party was being held in a tent on the golf course. It was beyond cold!!!! And the wind was terrible! Most of the night everyone gathered around standing heaters and kept their wool coats on.
We managed to take our coats off briefly for pictures!
We all had a good time though! Afterwards we headed back across the bridge to go to Savannah Smiles. That is not my favorite place but some of us were out-voted. Ten couples ended up going so that's how our night ended. 
Brett and I were glad to get up Sunday morning though and get ready to come home. We all had lunch at Five Guys and then we split off. We picked up Zoe, who had made herself quiet at home with Brett's parents, and headed towards Glennville to relax the rest of the day! What a weekend......I will be GLAD to stay at home all weekend coming up!!!
I'm sure it was cold out there!! Glad y'all had fun, but I like to be able to stay at home too, especially in colder weather! I would have been one to vote for Savannah Smiles....I like it :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not that I don't like the place - it's all the smoke! I had to take everything we had on to the dry cleaners Monday morning. Never even took them out of the garmet bag because they were SO smokey!
