Mondays not Fundays!!!

Well today was a long Monday. The first Monday back with kids. We had about 10 no-shows from last Thursday show up today and then a mad-rush to get classes funded before the board downloaded our class lists. Even though it was somewhat hectic today went by entirely too slowly!!! I don't think I got one item marked off my to do list on my desk. How many more days until our first vacation?
My day consisted of waking up very early with hardly little sleep at all. I am glad that Melissa is driving this week. I think I sat in a daze all the way to school. But the best part of my day was arriving to work and unpacking my laptop. I found a note that Brett had written me last night after I went to bed. It just about made me cry!!! He is the sweetest husband and so much more than I could ask for! He is the absolute best!!! I fall in love with him more and more everyday.
When I got home I ran a couple of errands and then finished up the last of some thank you notes. We are still getting gifts!!
As I wrote thank you's I watched....mainly listed to the Dave Matthews Band concert that Brett DVR'd. About mid-way through Zoe starting belting out a howl along to the music! It was quiet hilarious!!! What can I say....our dog has great taste in music!
On another note I cannot wait until this Friday, not only is it FRIDAY but the move The Time Travelers' Wife comes out and Brett has said he would take me.
I finished the canvases for Deanna yesterday. Here are a couple of pictures. These are going into the kids rooms at the coast house. Benjamin asked for a crazy crab and Genevieve wanted a mermaid.
