Today my Dad turned 92!!! We cooked down at the shop and the Moncrief family came. Dad really enjoyed his favorites we cooked......crab stew, boiled shrimp, and onion rings. His memory comes and goes and he could not remember that Brett and I had gotten married. To be that old and your memory is the only thing that is going....he's a tough man and looks much younger than his actual age.
He was glad to see some of the pictures from the wedding. He enjoyed watching Brian and Brett play pool and then a short viewing of the Braves before Uncle Phillip had to take him back to the assisted living.
I've been framing some of our wedding pictures to hang and several to take back to work for my office. NOT looking forward to work but will be great to see some friends.
