Beach Day

Well today I attempted another beach trip to St. Simons and this one was successful. April & I decided to go since our vacations are coming a quick end and Peighton wanted to play at the beach. The weather was perfect....not to hot, a little overcast but just enough to get a tan! We were alittle worried once we got on I-95 because it clouded up and started to rain but that soon passed. The beach was mostly deserted. Great day in the sun and surf. We stopped by the outlet mall and then headed home.
Brett has been busy washing vehicles and doing a little yard work. He and Zoe had fun. He did say that she kept going back to the storage room door and crying, wanting to go in. I've let her back there twice but still no pup to play with....and no Dell, we will not get another dog. You sound like Brett. One is enough right now. I am starting to find puppy teeth around the house as the "baby" teeth are falling out and being replaced with permanent teeth. This should be interesting. I've sprayed an 80 year old table that she feels like she needs to chew on instead of her teething toys.
Anyway.....tomorrow is a day of cleaning and getting ready for our family dinner with our parents this Wednesday night. Everyone is coming over to watch the video from the wedding and we are giving them their wedding photo books. Should be fun.

  3. I hear ya Lacy!!! I just drooled at all the cute houses for sale yesterday in St. Simons. Brett and I talked about it this past weekend. There is a golf shop for sale and he knows the family that owns it. If only we could buy it and move down there. But a summer house would do too......if only, I'll just keep dreaming.
