Mama and I went to Statesboro Friday afternoon for the second fitting of my dress. It is still too big and they are taking up some more. I guess that is a good thing!!! We will be going back next Friday to hopefully pick them up.
Saturday morning we had an early miscellaneous shower at the church. We got so many great things! And the breakfast was delicious!!! Afterwards, I was able to come home to relax a while before the couples cookout in Claxton.
Deanna and Ed helped to host the luau at their house in Claxton. The party was great! It was so nice seeing so many of my high school and college friends. The dinner was wonderful and we sat around the pool for dinner. Brett and I didn't get home until midnight. We promised that we would all be getting together for another couples night soon after the wedding.

Brett had to go into the office today. He did not like the fact that he had to get up at 6:30 this morning. I relaxed in bed and watched an old movie before getting dressed to got to Rincon for our third shower for the weekend. The ladies at Mrs. Faye's school hosted a miscellaneous shower.
Now it's off to write at least 100 thank you notes from the weekend parties!
