Everyone has been so nice today at school. It's like a member of my family has passed away. Everyone knew how much Darcy meant to me. Thanks for the emails, cards, and special words. They've all helped so much!! Knowing she is in puppy heaven chasing a squirrel or lizard brings a smile to my face.
It was hard leaving the house this morning. I found myself walking around quietly as I try to do now that Brett and Darcy would sleep later. I was thinking not to wake them but remembered Darcy wasn't there. It's going to be hard to walk into the house and not have her run up to me, jumping on my leg, tail wagging. Bye dear friend.
On another note....my fourth trip to Statesboro today for a dress fitting - my dress finally fit PERFECTLY!!! Can't gain a pound or loose any!
