2010 was a hard year for our family. We lost daddy, an uncle, and a grandfather. Christmas was just not the same this year without daddy. It never really seemed like Christmas day arrived without him here. I do know he was looking down on us and I do know he has been protecting Reid as he's grown to make his way into this big new world! Reid will have a special guardian angel with him always and I plan to share many wonderful stories about his grandfather who would have spoiled him beyond rotten and loved him ever so much!
2011 is going to be an year full of adventure! Brett and I cannot wait to get him here and home. I will say I am dreading the hospital stay because I've never been a huge fan of hospitals but I am sure the overwhelming experience we are about to have will be worth the gift we are given! So many uncles, aunts, and cousins are ready to get him here to and begin spoiling him - they've all told me and Brett to be prepared!
