37 Weeks - Counting Down

Well today's doctor appointment was with a scheduled ultrasound and check-up. Reid is good and ready!!! Today the ultrasound showed he weighs 7 pounds and 11 ounces and everything looks great - heart, lung, kidneys...everything is good and ready! The tech could even see hair! He would not cooperate and turn his head too much for us to see his face. He is in place and head down. This I already knew because of the constant kicking in my ribs.

Dr. Edwards said I am not dilating or thinning yet and I don't appear to be anytime soon! Boy, oh boy!!! I go back next Monday and he is going to check me again. Then he will decide basically what day I am coming in if it doesn't look like there is any change. He said we could induce or go with a c-section. Probably a c-section with my age and Reid's size. We definitely will not be going until January 10th!
Tara took some pictures yesterday and I can't wait to see them! Good thing we did because I may not be waiting much longer. We can't wait for little Reid to get here!
