SURPRISE to Me - SURPRISE to Them ALL!!

This past Saturday I woke up feeling not so well. I relaxed until about 1:00 when I had to start getting ready to go to a shower in Springfield. Brett had been telling me all week that we were going to go out to eat in Savannah for my birthday afterwards so to dress accordingly. He has even went as far as telling me that he had called some friends to meet us but no one could make it on such short notice.
After leaving Springfield I needed to stop by the mall really quick. As we were there Brett slowly decided to make our way downtown. He wasn't in any hurry to get out of the mall. He did not drive his normal speed downtown and even turned back around to go down Jones Street to look at some houses. I told him we needed to hurry because technically you should be at a reservation 15 minutes ahead of your time. He continues to drive slowly down Bay Street and is not really at all concerned that we are going to be late to what I thought was a 7:00 reservation. We had to park in the underground parking garage and walk not too far. As we get to the door of The Bohemium to go to Rocks on the River Brett tells me he was wrong about the reservation and it's really at 7:30 so lets go up to the bar to Rocks on the Roof for a drink before dinner. So by this point I ask him what is going on! He repeatedly tells me nothing. When we get off the elevator and turn the corner, Ragen and Candice are waiting. I was SUPPOSED to act shocked!!!! What Brett and the rest didn't know was that a little birdy (Chris Roessler) let it slip on Wednesday thanks to Tiffany telling him the plan. Deanna, Ed, April and Marshall showed up a little late and then we went to dinner. 
Although I had some idea something was going on I didn't know who all would be at the restaurant. We had a really great dinner and a wonderful time. I will definitely want to go back. So glad I finally got to go! Yes, I did celebrate a birthday but I am not turning another year older! HAHA
