Boy it's been a long week! Three days of getting home late - two of them after dark!! This does not make a fun or productive week around the house.
Today I slept in a little late and then washed clothes, began painting several canvases and cleaned house! I went to town for mama and then back home to do more things around here. I am taking a quick break to post something finally before I start getting ready to go to Springfield for an engagement party - can you say burrr? The party is supposed to be a Mexican Fiesta around a pool outside! I HoPe they have heaters!!!!
Mama's eye surgery went well last week and I took her Thursday to have her stitches removed but last night around 8:30 while scratching her nose her finger caught the incision and popped it open! Dana came and applied butterflies. We called Dr. Miller and she is going to have to go back Monday to have more sutures put in that area, which means putting her back to sleep to clean the tissue area and then adding more stitches. Daddy has a meeting so I will be taking off work to drive her to Savannah early Monday morning!
Zoe likes the cool air outside! It's made her ExTrA frisky today!!! While daddy harvest pecans outside we left her in the house. She sat at the back door for thirty minutes and howled non-stop wanting to come out. It was pretty pitiful! Brett mowed the grass and I have just finished folding laundry. I still have two loads of sheets and towels but that may have to wait until tomorrow. Now off to pick out something warm and cute to wear!
Still have Dorothy. The girls were supposed to bring it back today, but forgot. Will send it home tomorrow.
