Today I had my shower at school. I really feel like I wasn't at work today at all!! I had a meeting at the board office at 9:00 that ended around 11:45. The curriculum team for the county and the other curriculum coordinators surprised me with a lunch and wedding gifts!
I got back to school around 1:00, worked until the end of the school day and then attended my school shower! They went all out on the food - it was great, especially the cake! Thanks to everyone who helped out. 8)
This was the first shower that I had to open gifts in front of everyone. I don't like a great deal of attention - "all eyes on me" - but it was fun. I guess I better get practice for the big day when I walk down the isle!!!
