Today was such a nice day. I cooked waffles and sausage for Brett and Brandon. Darcy even enjoyed a waffle!! Mama had gone shoe shopping for her wedding dress yesterday and called me to her house to see if I thought there were any matches to her dress. She was successful! So she's finally set for the big day!
Brian stopped by with his new addition - Jake! He is the softest little lab puppy I've ever seen. He's so docile but Darcy did not seem to like her new cousin!! Just like children, she took his treat and then would not share her toys. I guess she thought she needed to show him who was boss at our house.
We drove to the cabin so I could measure the tables for the reception. Mama needs to get the blue fabric soon for the table runners. Brandon really liked the cabin too. It's definately a different place! We are going to have the best time.
Later we went down to the shop. The guys played pool and I took a couple of pictures of the new pup. He's just too cute! And so laid back. Pretty smart too. Brian's already taught him to fetch. Now we just have to get Darcy to warm up to him.
